Whats the purpose of life?..what is defined as living a meaningful life. This are the questions that i have been questioning myself lately but i didn't manage to get an answer.

I guess that is life, a journey of finding answers and connecting the dots to form a big picture. I hope that i will be enlightened on my purpose.

After seeing this video on my friends wall in facebook, i was inspired by the hero in video. I really hope to do what he does, that is to help and to give. I know i have imperfections, no one is truly without flaws. It is through such flaws that make us human. I made a pact with my cousin that when we have actually earned our kept, we will be heading on a mission trip together. I am looking forward to that day and i hope to help as many of such people in my life.

It is an disheartening to know that how easily people judge you by your flaws instead of your merits. We should learn to judge them by their merits instead, not focusing on their flaws. Learn to give more compliments and praises, it will definitely benefit both parties.

It has been such a long time since i last updated my blog. I realised that my previous post was posted before i enlisted to the army. Life has been good for me, although there is some downside to it but i am able to live by it. Without realising it, i am in the 6th month of my service term. A half year mark, many stuffs have happened during this period. Be it in my case or my surroundings. I witness stuff that i never thought i would witness. Doing things that i would never imagine i could do. One of the things i have come to realise that friendship needs maintainance. A little negligence on your part may cause a friendship to end. Lots of effort is needed to subtain a friendship. It is disheartening though to realise that how we people end to forget things in such a short timeframe.

Being in the army makes me treasure the time i have with my friends and family. It has trained me to become more responsible for my actions. Basically, its hard for me to put in words of what i have learnt in the past 6 months. I have learnt to take things in my stride, learn to look at thing from a different perspective. Judge people not by their cover but by what they really are.

On a side note, watching my friends growing up and maturing alongside with me really heartwarming. People like carmen, raine, geraldine, carolyn and shihua are people that i have known for a long time. Watching them changing be it physically and mentally, really tells you lots about life. Not forgetting people like my poly peeps and my secondary school buddies. People like chung,simon, kai hon and kenneth. Lots of my memories are shared with them. Totally treasure the happenings we had together, the joy, the laughter and definitely the ups and downs in different phases in our time together. And i am sure our friendship will continue for years to come. Enough said about this.

I wonder will i continue to change, to be more practical and such?? I hope time will mould me into a better person. Returning to my civilian life in 1 and a half year is what motivating me to continue right now. I guess thats all for today, time to continue another time.

Back to update my blog. Life is still revolving between work and photography. Here are the list of events that has been happening in my life.

14.08.08- Movie session with wanxin.

Went to vivo to catch a movie titled "Meet Dave" with wanxin. Basically it is a comedy that is heartwarming. Definitely a good movie to watch if you are into comedies. Had another photo taking session over there.Dinner was at "crystal jade la mian and xiao long bao restaurant". Walked around town and headed home after that.

16.08.08- Movie session and dinner session with Simon and Chung.

Met up with simon and peigek at Plaza Singapura to watch "Money no enough 2". A heart warming story indeed. Enjoyed the show and it is highly recommended by yours truly. =D. Met up with chung and xiaowei for dinner at the soup restaurant. We ordered a set package and the food was good. The bill added up to about $115. Kinda costly though.

On a final note, the Iphone is finally coming out. Cool stuff. But it is kinda costly though, considering the monthly subscription of the plans. Ok, thats all i guess. Uploaded some pictures below, enjoy. =D

Went to Singfest yesterday. Credits to misty for the tickets.xD. Apparently she won the tickets from a lucky draw hosted by Visa itself. We were offered VIP seats. Cool ya. But the VIP booth was quite far away from the stage itself. Had free drinks all night long, took some photos but it didnt really turn out well. There was a gap between us and the guest that were present in the VIP tent. Most of them were either working adults or high flyers. Felt weird with the crowd but managed to get over it. The first part of the concert was really boring, it managed to get better after simple plan came on. Spotted 2 cute kids and took photos of them. Went home after that and was so tired. Back to leave a post in my blog again. Caught Red Cliff with simon on sunday. It is basically a nice show portraying the story of the Romance of the three kingdoms. It is spilt into 2 parts, cant wait for the 2nd part to be shown in singapore. Its definitely worth the money just based on the fact that it is a two and a half hour show. Not including that it is also interesting and having a good plot.

Below is the sypnosis of the show: The movie is based on historical records of "The Chronicles of the Three Kingdom" rather than the novel, "Romance of the Three Kingdom". In the early third century, the land of Wu is invaded by the warlord Cao Cao and his soldiers. The ruler of Wu, Sun Quan (Chang Chen), calls on the rival warlord Liu Bei (You Yong) for help, but their two armies are still badly outnumbered. However, the strategists Zhou Yu (Tony Leung) and Zhuge Liang (Takeshi Kaneshiro) see that Cao Cao's army is unused to battling on the sea. With 200,000 men, Zhou Yu and Zhuge Liang defeat Cao Cao's army at the Yangtze River.

I am here to blog again. Recently caught a movie titled 21. Its really a good show emphasizing on how 5 college students managed to earn lots of money by counting card in the blackjack game. Catch it while you can.=D

I will give a brief introduction to Redang. Redang is famous for its crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches, and the tropical fish that inhabit the numerous reefs, many within 50 feet of the shore. It is basically for nature lovers and beach lovers. Who likes the sun, sand and the sea. You can go and have a tan in the beach or snorkel in the deep blue sea. Sounds nice ya.

I shall no longer lament about life. Cause I am already blessed. Watched 2 movies today, hancock and Kung fu panda respectively. Both movies were great. Its good to watch a movie alone sometimes, you can plan your own own activities and carry it out. Walked around Amk hub, Saw couples, friends,and family. Basically people from all walks of life. It is kind of relaxing, when you are free of troubles. Nothing to think about, I like that feeling. But company is needed too, just need to strike a balance between it.

Friends are important too, as the saying goes: Friends are family that you chose for yourself. I may seem to be nonchalent about it at times, but I really do care. I am just bad at expressing myself. For that is something I need to overcome. I am also stubborn at times, looking back at past events, I realized that it is a fact. It seems like a joke looking at all my past deeds, I cant say that I am less stubborn now. But I will am willing to try. On a last note, I wish to tell all my friends that you all are loved by me.

Good morning people. I am back to blog again. Well, what should i say. Went to Clark Quay for Shirley's birthday celebration. Had dinner first at Manhattan in Central followed by Eski bar in Boat Quay. Took pictures and had a chit-chat session. It was fun though, went home around 11pm due to work commitments on the next day. Really missed those times when we had lesser commitments and such. Everyone is changing, am i?

Good Morning people. Its a sunday morning and i am here to blog again. Currently in the office right now. Gonna head over to Ronnie house for Mahjong session today. Been such a long time since i last played it. Itching for it right now.

Watched 200 pound beauty again just now. Its nice once in a while to recap on the show. Watching shows is a good way of relaxing and to pass your time away. It will also teach you lessons about life. So there are still benefits of watching shows.

Now my aim is to save as much money as i can and go traveling again. Maybe to japan or europe. It depends though. Have been working lately and i have hardly any time to do catching up with friends. Lesson learnt: Don't Assume. Be definite.

I had assumed that it was my off day due to fact that i have changed roster with my colleague. But that didn't seem to be the case. Had a total of 32 miss calls, was really guilty. Time to be more responsible and take life seriously.

On a lighter note, i caught a nice movie titled "Sono toki wa kare ni yoroshiku" (Say hello for me) while browsing through the drama index in crunchyroll. Its another good work done by the japanese.

- Heart warming show, the story go about of a girl losing her mother at a young age and her dog (socks) took over the role of her mum. Talks about life, a really meaningful show. One phrase really touched me, you may have many friends, but to your dog , you are the whole world to him/her.

-Do not even watch this show. Unless you have lots of free time to burn away. A "true" story about a few bored people tormenting a couple. How lame can that be. -.-"'

Back here to update my blog. It has been some time since i came back from my hk/tw and my genting trip. Been slacking at home most of the time, this is bad for my health.lolx. Time for job hunting or training to prepare for my national service. Got back my results, wasn't really good and i should expect that. No use crying over spilt milk, in this case "lousy grades". Time to move on and determine my future path.

Been pondering on the different options avaiable to me. Time to make a decision soon. Hopefully the letter from the army would come soon, so as not to waste precious time.

Went to Reuben's 21st birthday bash yesterday, it was fun ya. And i wish him a happy 21st birthday and many more enjoyable ones to come. Haven been posting in a while already..Sorry to all my beloved readers,if there are any.lol. Life has been average lately,mostly revolving around my job. Needa save for my taiwan trip.Taiwan, taiwan..chants on..
Have been thinking on lots of issue recently, been pondering on what is the purpose my existence. Sometimes you will get this feeling on how insignificant life is. Pardon me for being pessismistic. But i cant help it, its in my nature i guess. lol. Have u ever sit down and think what you are living for, why do you live and what can you do to make your life more significant. I bet hardly anyone of us actually do that, with the hustle and bustle of our busy life. Its almost impossible for someone to fork out time to ponder about this issue. Went to Terminal 3 at the airport on sat. We did a self tour and paid a dollar for it. Nothing really much to see, kinda dissapointed. T_T. After that, we went to singapore expo hall 6 for the sitex it fair. Many brands were available but there was nothing much to buy. It was crowded though. Didnt buy anything and it was off to town for dinner. Had our dinner at cineleisure food court. Played a little pool and headed home after that.

I am running a temperature now..=(..being sick aint cool at all..ARGGG..went to the polyclinic in the morning around 9.30am with body aches all over..but the worse thing, i had to wait for 3 hrs before i managed to see the doctor.ARGG..nearly died.. the COLD and the body ache was killing me. Had a day mc in the end. Hmm,by the time i left the polyclinic it was already 1..hai..next time no polyclinic visit for me.. to the GP instead..haha..oh ya, 1 more thing to add, in the end i was just given panadol.-.-"".double hai..lol.. Sorry peeps for not posting so long. Been busy yeah, i am either mapling or swimming. School has finally started, guess i will be putting in a lot of effort in this semester. As it is the last semester i will be having in tp.=((. Shall put in extra extra effort in swimming too. Training up for national service is what i plan to do too. Hey peeps, i am here to update again. Holidays have been boring so far. Rashes and acne has attack me once again.Hai, when will i get back my flawless face again.lols. Ok on a happier note i have the motivation to go into intensive training. Went to the pool yesterday and realised my stamina has deproved by a hell lot. I used to swim 30 laps with ease. Yesterday, i was already drained out in my 10 lap. My body is acting weirdly, my freestyle aint as fast as before. Hai, getting rusty. Time to polish my swimming up. Gonna go for another swimming session later. Swimming frenzy,woots. Enjoying every moment of it , swimming is love. xD. Recently i caught up on another drama, its titled forbidden love. Really a nice love story, one thing i really like about this show is the love potrayed by the both parties. Conveying the message that love has no age boundaries. Age doesnt matter. yup that is something i agree but i wont do too. Hmm, i think i am contradicting myself. Anyway thats all, shall update another time..ciao.

Hey peeps i am here to update another post.^^ Had my class chalet on Monday, overall it was a little boring as we had nothing to do. Downtown east sure is boring yeah, shall change the location the next time we have one yeah.lols. The time was spend playing mahjong and some card games. Went night cycling and it was fun. Night cycling is love. =p. The scenery of pasir ris park is breath taking at night, a good place to bring your loves one to.

Today it was a trip to golden village at tampines for rogue assassin by jet li. Overall this movie is kinda nice with all the fighting action. Nice storyline and a good cast. A movie truly worth paying for.

After the movie it was subway for dinner, the cold trio is kinda nice. Far better than the other food available at other fast food outlets. Coolness, subway is my new love. Oh ya, received my medical checkup letter for the army. Kinda surprise to receive it, but i am looking forward to it. Oh man, i think i have been behaving weirdly for the past 1 month. Caught a new show on crunchyroll titled "wonderful life". Its really nice and i encourage u peeps to have a go at it. The shows goes like this...
Han Seung-wan leaves for Singapore to surprise his girlfried on her birthday. Jung Se-jin is on the same flight - she has worked hard to save money for her trip to Singapore to say farewell to her deceased "first love" who died saving a tourist in Singapore. Due to a series of incidences at the airport, they mistakenly take each other's passports. They meet again at the police station when Seung-wan is arrested for attempting to break into his girlfriend's apartment wearing a spiderman suit! Seung-wan and Se-jin end up spending the day together comforting each other - Se-jin sights his girlfriend with another and Seung-wan when she thinks of her lost love. They inadvertently spend the night together.
Back in Korea, Se-jin discovers she is pregnant. She tries to tell Seung-wan, but he is too engrossed with getting back with his girlfriend that she changes her mind. She leaves to have the baby alone.
A series of events leads to Seung-wan discovering that he has fathered a child with Se-jin and that Se-jin has "died". Seung-wan's life is thrown into array as he is now forced to face fatherhood and the anger of his girlfriend - Lee Chae-young - who vows never to see him again. Se-jin reappears and the couple is forced to get married by their respective families. The rest of the story revolves around the couple journey in learning to take responsibility, and learning to love each other.

Holidays are far too boring this time i guess. Rotting at home seriously ain't a good way to spend the holidays. Luckily there are trips to school in a bid to improve our final year project. Much effort is put into our project and i hope to score yeah.=D. Have been watching a few dramas on crunchyroll lately, they are "hotman" and "1 litre of tears". For hotman, it tells us of a single-parent dad trying to raise up his daughter while maintaining the harmony of his remainding siblngs. This is a movitivating show that tells us about the importance of kinship. There are a few heart wrenching scenes, and it sets u thinking. A nice show indeed.

For 1 litre of tears, this is the third time i am watching it. It never fails to make me cry everytime i watch it. Focusing on a true story of a girl named aya. This show talks about her lifestory and how she perservered throughout her illness. I really admire her courage and her insight towards her disabilities. Not many people have the courage like her, it really sets people to think of how fortunate we are living without disabilities. And gives encouragement to those who have. A really good drama that i encourage all my peeps to watch.

Have been thinking a lot lately, about life and many other stuff. I feel that i should treasure the people around me before i live to regret it. Life is short and unexpected. Memories are the best thing one can give to another, be it good or bad. It will always leave an impact in someone heart. Have been realising a lot of stuff, it is better not to be together as at least we have memories of regret, when u think back u will find it sweet. But by plunging into one, the memory wont be as sweet. And everyone is important, your mood affects a lot of people. Especially the close ones around u, so why not smile and brighten the day of your close ones. Okay i guess i shall give u all peeps time to digest my post. Shall end here yeah. Holidays have come and this is a time to rejoice. Finally we have endured 19 weeks of sip. Time really passed like a flash, so much memories i have gained throughout this experience. New friendships were made and bonds were formed. I shall miss this experience. On a happier note, i finally get to enjoy my holidays. But i guess i shall indulge myself in working. Time to earn more money and spoil myself by going on a holiday. That is what i plan but its not concrete yet.lol. Hmm, fiona will be going back to hk for a month, have a safe trip yeah.=D. Hey peeps, i am here to update yet another post.=p. Didn't go to school today because i had a splitting headache+fever+flu+cough. Really feeling very uncomfortable. Hope i will get better in the evening. Yup. Recently i have the habit to just lie down and spend the day staring at the sky. Hey peeps, i am here to update my blog again.=p. Overall this week has been quite bad. Having my presentation on friday and hope it turns out well. Went to amk hub cathay to watch a movie titled "881", its a movie based on the local getai stage. Overall the show is nice with a few catchy scenes and funny jokes,but the ending was quite sad. Had mixed feelings yeah. My pimple condition has worsen lately, don't really know why. I guess it is due to stress yeah. Many people thinks i am not suffering from it due to my outlook, but overall i guess everybody still suffers from it i guess. Hmm, i appear to be happy but this is just a mask i put on everyday. Holidays are coming soon and i am planning to work in the first half of the holidays and go on a trip yeah. Hope i can save enough money, need to rewind myself in a new environment. Today was an unlucky day.Firstly when i went to take the lift it was under maintenance, i had to climb down 8 stories.zzz. What a start to my uneventful morning, after that i headed to school. Met up with my group for my airport trip, the event head then told us that our name was in the monday list.ZZzzzZzzzz. Whereas our supervisor said our group was supposed to go today. What a waste of time, and i am now stoning away in my lab. Haiz, hopefully the later part of the day will be better. Maybe going back with my twin,hmm. But i don't think so. Gut feeling.lol! Hey peeps, i am back to update my post.Woots. Haha, these few days have been tiring for me. Late nights has taken its toll on me, feeling tired everyday. Hmmm, i think i am gonna fall sick soon. Had dinner with twin for the past 2 days. Hmm, i guess i am gonna be fat soon. And only my twin know the reason.lols. Been mapling these past few days too, maple is fun.=p.lols. Hey gorgeous is coming to tp tomorrow, i am looking foward to see the 3 guys and 3 girls in my school. Hope they will be decent.lols. Jay chou new movie is coming out ,its titled the secret. Should be catching it with my dumb twin.

Here is the plot of the show,

Hey peeps i am back update again. Recently have been updating on a regular basis.Cool yeah, wahaha. Its due to a reason, only someone knows. Haha. Talking about yesterday, i started off by waking up late for school. Damn, have been late for school recently. Need to sleep early next time.lols. Projects are due and we have to rush our work. Hmm, no more playing of games in the lab. Wahaha. After school was a trip to my friend house for mahjong, we practically play it in a weekly basis, played till 3.30 in the morning. Zzzz. Overall lost 8, but it was good actually. Get rid of my bad luck. =p. But overall, i still played badly. No form,haha. Hello peeps.i am here to post another entry as promised.=D...Hmm...life have been great so far, but occasionally i suffer from fatigue. Due to lack of sleep i guess. Hmm, pimples are popping out. Damn, i hate pimples, it just disfigures your face. Enough of this, talking about school. School has been slack so far, pr2 is coming soon and we need to do our presentation. Time to rush our project, zzz. I hate it, luckily there are friends around to give a helping hand here and there. It really helps to know that someone is there to help u..=p. Especially my darling girl. Thanks for always being there for me.=p. All we need is more time and it will come naturally yeah, looking foward to it yeah. It will happen anytime soon,wahaha. Be patient yeah. Oh ya, heard that there will be meteor shower on the 12-13th of august. It is called the perseid meteor shower and it happens annually. So be sure to bring your loved ones to enjoy this rare encounter.
